Wat a great n busy weekend for us all in CHC.. We have a wonderful Easter celebration with thousands of people packing every service.

So proud of my CG w468.. In total we have 22 friends n hit 40 people. Everyone of us work so hard by meeting a need, hurting a hurt.. n outreaching to every friend. It is amazing when everyone of us begin to work as a mighty army. we did our part n our best.

By sunday after the morning svc, we were super tired.. Dear n i went to his mum's place for lunch.. Dear took a nap, while i played with kaiqing. :) She is so cute.. that's make me more tired. So we went back home.. wanted to rest.. but i couldnt fall asleep. so got up n started me revision. haiz.. exam coming.. n still have so much to catch up.. Praying for God's wisdom n strength. Looking at the 200 slips to key in.. wow.. few hrs to go.. Thanks for a great bf.. he helped me with half.. so manage to key all by 12am.. PTL.

As usual we watch the America show ' The Biggest Loser' which meant to be a great motivator for losing weight. But watching the show make me give thoughts of how can we keep fit too..

As asian, we realli work hard.. Work till there is no tmr. but at the same time we lack exercise.. Heart disease.. the no 1 killer.

Being a child of God, our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.. so it is so important that we keep it healthy n fit.. Last 3 sunday were great cos i swam with Jolene.. although got ache during the week..

Doing exercise everyday might be hard.. hmm once a week.. sound great.. Motivation is wat need... Join me if u are interested!!! :-)

Oh ya!! I need a weighing machine too.. :-p

Last week passed so fast.. with so many things to do yet so little time.. Thurs n friday having course at albert court hotel .. the course was great.. alot of knowledge being input.. we were well treated with good stuff. After the course, will be alot of work to be done.. neverending as usual, but still need to hand on..

So many things pondering in my minds.. haiz haiz.. i shld laid them down one at a time.. i will be able to eliminate them..

anyway, last week having difficulties sleeping, all thanks to my stupid wisdom tooth that is given me problems.. haiz..or i shld say time to face the truth.. plucking them out.. sob sob.. went to the dentist on sat.. was told that i have to extract my 4 wisdom tooth.. faint x 1000... it will not be normal extraction but surgery for 2 of them.. was planning to do it after my braces is off.. but cant wait...hehe.. so i gonna plan for 2 days to do it.. with the 5 days MC that will be given for each extraction.. aiyo... gonna plan.. if not later affected my work n studies.. haix.

maybe do it in apr or may... still thinking..

On sunday.. went to eat with Auntie Lily n Dear's mum.. we had thai buffet at sunathai at killiney Road.. the food there was good.. the tom yam soup is hot n spicy n good.. can eat all u want.. but of course.. there are all spicy.. missing thailand.. hehe...

this week is gonna be a busy week too.. Having evangelism explosion with Pastor Aries at Jw on tues n wed.. thurs- class. Fri- meeting friend, sat- romance conference, sun -BBQ.. wow wow wow.

Praying for strength.. Praying for dear tooo... he is sick... having flu.. hate the flu virus.. as it will make dear feeling so unwell.. haix.. praying for God's divine healin upon him..

So excited for this weekend svc with Pst Kong.. And also the romance conference... the Q n A.. hmm thinking of questions to ask him.. if u r not going n have any quesion... pm me i will help u ask pastor..hehe.. of course there will be so many things that we would like to ask pst why guy is like this or why gals is like that.. wat Pst tan shared is true... MAN n WOMAN r meant to be diff.

It is wed.. mid of the week. realli thank God that the timetable for these 2 weeks wasnt that packed.. so many things coming up and also the outreach program that we are having.. WoW!!

Last week was great.. Svc with Pst Tan was awesome.. when he thought abt being ONE.. when Man n woman come together u will have 'Yah' which means God. Woman is just the other side of man.. alot of time we are thinking when man n woman r created different.. man n woman r meant to be one.. :)

reflecting the things that happened between each couple. Communication is indeed essential. Agreeing together is important too.. As a place of agreement is a place of power. :-)

Being in one accord.. this doesnt apply to marriage.. it applies to our ministry n CG too.. when we come together in one accord with one vision. like one mighty army... we can achieve great things.. Praying for all the members to run together in one vision..

gonna go.. having dinner with my colleague.. :0 Steamboat..Opppsss. :-)

Study Study non stop for the past few days.. Exam is on sat... :-x 4 chapters to study n i am currently at chap 3.. sounds like i am progressing well. Realli Thank God for His Stength..

this week: alot of lesson being learnt.. More of life experience lesson n also character moulding lesson i would say. I am not perfect but.. i want to be more n more like Christ..

Planning is wat i need to cultivate within me, (i wont say detail planning with implementation).. hehe.. - "God, I need your wisdom"

last week svc was great, with Pst Kevin.. even though it was just an interview session... but we can indeed learn alot from his marriage experience.. :-) spending quality time with one another n also praying together.. :-p Pray that all marriage couple in CHC will be loving n strong in the Lord.

As i was writing i recalled when we were younger, we were all thinking of where to go, wat we want to work as. during the days of our youth, we will be excited n always meet up for powerhouse.. n reaching out in school.. Now, being in the adult CG, abit lost touch with the youth.. :-) Now.. it is abt getting attached, grooming up, planning to get a house, marriage.. etc.. heehee.. we have all grow..

ok.. time to go back to work. hehe..

Valentine day (14 Feb).. Everyone is celebrating on this wonderful day with their love. I hope u have a great V day too..

This is our 2nd Vday.. recalling wat we did on our 1st Vday.. :-) he reminded me that i had class on that day.. oooohhh so sad rite. hehe but he never failed to surprise me by picking me up from sch n had a simple n romantic meal.

Tis year V day falls on a sat.. so we went for svc.. before svc.. dear needs to work.. so expecting something special aft svc.. then we decided to eat with our mem.. n go back to his place. he wanting to buy cakes.. saying we shld eat at home.. i was like ok.. eating cakes.. at home!!! knowing that dear had to wake up early on sun morning for greeter so i guess i shld not expect him to stay up late with me. brought the cake n headed home.. thought that we will just had cake.. n maybe he will just give me a gift then that's all... but... it is not wat i had imagined...

Dear is so creative.. many will think of going out for dinner at a romantic restaurant... but he decorate the balcony.. n we had a romantic tea n cake there.. with music playing at the back.. i am amazed.. i was caught in surprise.. i know he had planned for weeks.. (Dear - You're the best!!) Can u imagine eating at 32 floors, looking at the city view.. :-p (the moon is being blocked by the haze.. sob sob) if not it will be wonderful..

we had our cakes from coffeebean.. peach-mango tea, famous amos cookies.. after that we had apples juices.. we spend the night chatting n going thru the few points that pst had taught..

Wondering wat dear gave me.. hehe... he gave me bouquet of Ferrero Rochers that made himself... (caught him doing that on thurs.. hehe).. he also gave me a pearl pendant.. (so Sweet of him)... after the meal.. i did all the washing.. hehe :0

Thinking wat i gave him.. i brought a white designed shirt.. :-) cant wait for him to wear it next week..

Had a great V day.. Sunday morning.. wake dear up for greeter ministry at 7plus.. then i go back to sleep.. hehe... wake up at 9plus.. thinking of slacking around.. but i nv.. i decided i shld help dear packed his place cos the part time cleaning auntie didnt come on friday.. i cleaned up the living room within one hr.. hehe..

dear came back from expo.. with subway breakfast.. oh.. it is tasteless.. sob sob.. only bread, egg n bacon.. faint.. after breakfast we went to the shop.. did some cleaning of the shop n i started to study.. need to do my revision cos exam is coming (at of the month).. thank God for a good sale..

The morning prayer is back.. this is the first morning prayer for the year... there will be a total of 6 weeks of morning prayer.. first day.. so excited as usual... but this time round gonna woke up at 5plus... cos the session starting at 630am.. WOW!! Mum pulled my blanket n wake mi up before they headed for work.. i rested a while on bed before my alarm rang.. then call dear to wake him up.. thought i will have enough time.. so i rested a while more.. n to my horror.. it was 6am when i opened my eyes again.. i jumped out of my bed n washed up.. thank God dear hasnt arrived.. went to COS (Harvest) instead of HOG.. cos the parking is quite expensive.. n since the distance is the same as we stayed in between... so.. tried out COS.. first time going for morning prayer at COS.. so have a bit of hard time finding the place as there is only one road into the street.. n we missed it.. so need to make 2 U turns.. faint.. nevertheless, we got there.. the place isnt that visible along the road.. need to walk to the middle.. we just followed the crowd as usual.. Comparing HOG.. the place seems to be abit bigger.. Pst Aries was leading the session..

Found a seat n started praying.. 630am.. took time to pray in the spirit n then pray for my personal life, CG n work.. Liftin the rest of the long week to God.. praying for His wisdom n grace..

after the morning prayer.. dear drove me to work.. 745am.. wow super early.. cos i start work at 9am.. so i went for mum's shop.. :-P

Now at work.. need to plan for the week n month since there is so many things to be done.. A good news for all.. My company had cancelled the 4days work..so no pay cut.. PTL...

Alan, jolene, alvin, xunwei - went for the morning prayer too.. SO proud of u.. let mi know if i hv missed out any of u.. Love ya, W468..

I am back..If u have been wondering where i went to.. hehe.. i went for a trip to Ho Chi Minh.. vietnam.. during the Chinese New Year season.. First time in my life, i am away from home.. This year for my family, most of us travelled out.. My younger brother travelled to NZ for NS, my sister went to penang to visit her friend n me to HCM..

Anyway.. I went vietnam with dear n his dad.. first time travelling with his dad.. hehe.. it is a private tour trip.. so only 3 of us with the driver n the guide.. we have all the attention of the guide.. bombing him with all our questions..

The trip is more of sightseeing one.. we visited most of the tourist attraction n also the village.. on the first dayt when we arrived at the city.. we were picked up by the driver.. he then fetched us to the hotel.. it was already abt 3plus in the afternoon.. so not knowing where to go we headed to the Ben Thah market.. the market is packed with different shop selling diff type of stuff... from the raw food to cooked food.. so the clothes to the wooden display etc.. but one thing i can say.. it is quite well organised. After dinner dear n i went to the nite market to shop.. the marketplace is madness.. the motorbike is riding pass us like crazy.. they wont stop for u.. so u just have to cross.. We had a great shopping time.. since there CNY for the next few days.. so expecting the shop to be closed.

2nd day: the tour started.. the tour guide is a freelance guide.. she took us for a day tour to the Former Presidential palace, War Crime museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral - where the oldest church in Vietnam is located. The whole build is made from bricks that is from France.. Then we went to the History Museum, Chinatown n Thien Hau Temple.. In HCM, everywhere u go u will see temple.. abt 65 % of the peple are buddist..

at nite we went to walk at the flower street.. the street is fully packed with people n also motorbike.. it is madness.. the locals were there walking n take photo of the deco that is being placed up.. like Singapore Chinatown.. one of the street is blocked... but unlike Singapore where shop that r set up.. here we see man, woman n even children riding their bicycle n their stall cart pushing n setting them all around the street.. it is like 'wow'.. we bought candy floss.. then headed to the hotel cos the crowd is madness to the max.. nothing much for us to shop too.. since there will be firework at midnight due to the lunar new year 'TET' celebration in vietnam so we decided to view it on the roof top of the hotel..

the firework is not as nice as what we have back home.. the smoke from the firework blocked our view sob sob..

That's the end of the second day of the trip..

3rd day: we went to the Cu Chi Tunnel, a place where the vietnamese fighter built their tunnels during the war. the tunnel is indeed small to the max.. but it is so well built with hospital, cooking area, meetin room, n also escape to the river.

After that we went to visit the Cao Dai Temple.. it is a interesting belief.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cao_Dai

Their god is symbolized by the Divine Eye, specifically the left eye because Yang is the left side and God is the master of Yang.

Sometime that the followers commented that make us wonder: she said that they believe that this religion will be spread thru-out the whole world.. relating to the US dollar notes on this there is a symbol of the eye.. U will see a pyramid n on top of it is a triangle n an eye in it.. :-)

This is what u will find on the wall in the middle of the hall.. the 2nd last from the bottom in the middle is believed to Jesus according to the followers.

After that we went to the lacquer workshop.. this workshop is opened by the gov.. it is to provide jobs to the disabled.. those that is being affected by the agent orange during the war.. They are born deformed.. some of the lacquer box n printin that they made took them abt half a year or even more.. but everyone of it is their hardwork.. we bought some of the artwork..

We headed back to the city for dinner.. ate in a super expensive restaurant..

4th day: We went to Medong Delta.. it is a long long drive to the ferry terminal.. we took the ferry to the villages where we see the people making coconut candy n rice biscuit.. there i tried the wine which is used to soaked the snakes.. hehe then we went pass the floating market ( it is closed due to holiday.. sob sob) we headed to a restaurant at the village to have lunch... one interesting thing that i saw was that the local actually buried their ancest0r in their compound.. to pay respect to them..

Then we went to the fruit plantation where we tried diff kind of fruit that is being planted. then we tasted the rice wine with herbs n a kind of fruit (believe to be very smelly while cooking it)... it is super strong.. we bought back 3 bottles for my friends to try.. then we went headed back to the city Saigon (HCM).. the journey back is super long.. :-) slept all the way in the car..

We went to have our dinner with the tour guide n driver.. Had a great n cheap meal..

5th day: Time to come back to Singapore. n since our flight is at abt 2 plus.. we woke up abit later than usual.. had breakfast at the hotel then went to the Ben Thah market to see what we can get... uncle bought some display back.. :)

There is our trip.. Will update the photo soon after i have sort them up..

Missing my dearest W468 so much.. glad to see them today for svc.. n also the catch up... :-) Love u all much..
